Description
The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to demolish the existing landfill scale house and associated infrastructure, then design and construct a new scale house facility complete with two truck scales, building, pavement, utilities, and site improvements at the municipal solid‑waste landfill. The scope includes demolition, earthwork, utility installation, structural and MEP construction, paving, landscaping, and all related site‑finishing items. Bidders must submit sealed proposals with a 5 % bid security and be prepared to provide performance and payment bonds upon award.
• Demolition of existing scale house, truck scale, pavement and related structures.
• Complete new building (architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing) plus two truck scales with foundations and approach slabs.
• Installation of water, sewer, storm‑water, electrical utilities, a 75 kVA propane generator, and extensive pavement, curbing, signage, and landscaping.
