The United States Army is seeking a commercially available or non-developmental item (NDI) solution for the Common Tactical Truck (CTT) program. The CTT is a Family of Vehicles that will replace the Palletized Load System (PLS), the Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT), and the M915 Line Haul Tractor. The Army prioritizes reliability over extensive customization and seeks solutions that maximize the use of existing commercial platforms and proven technologies. The CTT consists of six variants: Load Handling System (LHS), Line Haul Tractor (LHT), Tanker, Wrecker, Off Road Tractor (ORT), and Cargo.
• The CTT will ultimately be sustained organically and must be capable of being operated and maintained by Army soldiers without civilian intervention.
• Each CTT variant performs a unique mission role, and companies may propose to less than all six variants.
• The Army is seeking industry partnership on "Right to Repair" solutions that balance Army maintenance, repair requirements, and supply availability with vendor IP protection.
• The CSO process consists of three phases: Phase 1 - Solution Brief, Phase 2 - Presentation, and Phase 3 - Proposal & Award.
