Architectural/Engineering Services for Information Technology Headquarters Cente

The County of Orange is seeking an architectural/engineering firm to provide services for the design and redevelopment of an existing building at 23 Hatfield Lane in Goshen, NY, to create a modernized efficient records storage center and a state-of-the-art IT headquarters. The selected firm will be responsible for preparing complete design plans, floor plans, furniture plans, storage plans, technical specifications, bid documents, cost estimates, and performing construction administration services. The project includes the design of IT office space, records center space, and additional floor space concepts. • IT office space needs, including dedicated office space for the County's growing IT staff, with an open layout for collaboration and private offices for specialized tasks • Records center space, including the design of a layout plan to maximize storage capacity in both vertical and horizontal directions • Additional floor space concepts, including the design of a second-floor mezzanine-type area and an addition on the north side of the building • The project requires the selected firm to have a minimum of five years' experience in providing similar services and to be well-qualified to provide the services sought in this RFP.
