WeGo Central Canopy Replacement, Waterproofing and Safety Improvements

The Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) is soliciting bids for the replacement of three existing canopies at the WeGo Central Facility in downtown Nashville. The project includes removal of existing pedestrian hardscape surfaces, removal of two existing canopies, anchoring of new canopies, waterproofing, hardscape replacement, erection of structural steel canopies, power, and low voltage conduits and wiring. The contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials for a complete installation. The project also includes waterproofing of drive aisles and miscellaneous safety improvements. • The project requires experience with on-site structural steel fabrication, demolition, and concrete hardscape. • The contractor must have sufficient personnel capacity, including billing, project management, and site management. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal and state regulations, including the Davis-Bacon Act and the Buy America requirements. • The contractor must provide a bid bond in the amount of 5% of their bid and performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the project bid. • The contractor must have a valid Tennessee contractor's license. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonds as required by the contract.
