Description
The City of Danville is seeking bids for the construction of a natural gas facilities extension for the Southern Virginia Megasite at Berryhill. The project includes furnishing all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, incidentals, temporary facilities, traffic control, erosion and sediment controls, testing, documentation, cleanup, restoration, and all other items necessary to construct a complete and operational natural gas facilities extension. The contractor shall coordinate, sequence, construct, test, document, and restore the work in accordance with the plans, specifications, applicable permits, and governing standards and authorities having jurisdiction.
• The project requires compliance with the City of Danville's Standard Requirements & Instructions for Bidding, Version 3.0, dated July 1, 2025.
• The contractor must provide a bid bond, performance bond, and payment bond.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and codes, including the Virginia Uniform Building Code.
• The contractor must provide a certificate of insurance and an additional insured endorsement.
• The contractor must comply with the City's drug-free workplace policy and provide a statement certifying that all employees have not been convicted of a felony in the past 7 years.
• The contractor must provide a list of all employees and subcontractor employees that will be working on the project.
