Tom Varn Park Streetscape Improvements

The City of Brooksville is seeking a contractor to improve the entrance appearance into Tom Varn Park by planting trees in round mulched planting areas. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to accomplish the planting, as well as maintenance for one year after the completion of the project. The scope of work includes planting trees, staking and strapping, installing weed barriers and mulch, and providing maintenance and warranty for the plantings. Some key requirements for the project include: • Planting trees in accordance with the Department of Agriculture's regulations for nursery inspections, rules, and rating • Using high-quality plant material that is true to botanical and common name, and variety as specified in the Planting Schedule • Installing weed barriers and mulch in accordance with the planting detail • Providing maintenance and warranty for the plantings for one year after completion of the project
