Description
The Walled Lake Consolidated School District is seeking bids for asbestos abatement at Western High School. The project will include the removal and disposal of asbestos floor tile, asbestos floor tile mastic, non-asbestos carpet, interior door/window frame with asbestos glazing, asbestos lab counter tops, exterior/interior window frame with asbestos caulk, sinks with asbestos undercoating, asbestos thermal system insulation, tagged fire doors and tagged fire door frames materials. The bidding documents will be available from Arch Environmental Group, and a mandatory pre-bid walk-through will be held at Western High School.
• The project will be completed in June and July 2026, prior to building renovation activities.
• Each proposal must be submitted in duplicate on the forms furnished by the architect and must be completed in full.
• The proposal shall be sealed in an opaque envelope and marked with the name of the bidder and the project name.
• Bids shall be delivered no later than 10:00 am (EST), Wednesday May 27, 2026 to the location indicated above.
