The County of San Mateo is seeking a vendor to design, install, monitor, and maintain a combined fire and security alarm system for its main park ranger office located at 9500 Pescadero Creek Road, Loma Mar, CA. The system must comply with current fire and safety codes and provide timely monitoring and response capabilities. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing a complete solution, including system design and installation, monitoring services, and maintenance and support. • The system must include a fire alarm control panel with backup power and necessary communicators for monitoring and emergency dispatch. • The system must include smoke detectors and heat sensors, manual pull stations, horns, strobes, and emergency notification devices. • The system must include door and window contacts, motion detectors, and perimeter protection devices. • The system must include video surveillance cameras and recording equipment (if proposed). • The vendor must provide an initial warranty covering parts and labor for a minimum of one year. • The vendor must offer ongoing service agreements for inspection, testing, repair, and replacement of system components.
