Fiber Request

The Illinois Secretary of State is seeking bids for the material and installation of new low voltage infrastructure (Fiber) connections in Springfield, IL. This request also includes current fiber connections troubleshooting and repair of the current environment where needed. The contract will have an initial term of upon execution to 6/30/28, with no renewal options. • The contract includes the installation of 12 Strand Fiber - Single mode fiber per 100 ft (armored and non-armored with innerduct) and 12 Strand Fiber - Multi-mode fiber per 100 ft (armored and non-armored with innerduct). • The contract also includes termination costs. • Vendors must be prepared to work in government locations with an asbestos environment for installation, but will not be asked to provide any asbestos abatement. • The State encourages vendors to make sure that their BidBuy account is up-to-date.
