USS AMERICA (LHA-6) MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT (MHE) REFURBISHMENT

The USS AMERICA (LHA-6) is seeking capable businesses to refurbish seven Material Handling Equipment (MHE) assets. The work includes all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, parts, transportation coordination, test equipment, and certification services necessary to restore the MHE assets to full operational capability. • The refurbishment is expected to be a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) type contract with a one-year period of performance. • The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310 with a small business size standard of $12.5 million. • Interested parties should provide a Capability Statement (no more than 10 pages) including corporate description and experience. • The Government reserves the right to consider a set-aside for small businesses or one of the small business socioeconomic contracting programs.
