Description
St. Joseph Public Schools is seeking a qualified contractor to fully demolish and remove all buildings, structures, and scoreboards within the Wells Field property, while preserving an adjacent concession stand. The work includes removal of perimeter fencing and decorative concrete pillars, safe termination of all utility services, backfilling, grading, and reseeding the disturbed area to restore a uniform turf surface. The contractor must obtain all required permits, adhere to local safety and environmental regulations, provide a 5% bid bond, and a 100% performance bond upon award.
• Demolition of existing structures and scoreboards on Wells Field
• Exclusion of the concession stand – must remain undamaged
• Removal of specified fencing and masonry elements along State Street
• Cap, disconnect, and permanently terminate plumbing, electrical, water, and sewer utilities
• Site restoration: backfill, grade, seed, and establish turf
• Mandatory pre‑bid meeting/site walkthrough on Oct 2, 2026
• Sealed bid submission due Oct 13, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at the school’s business office
• 5% bid bond and 100% performance bond required
