Town Hall Entrance Rehabilitation

The Town of Webster is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of the Town Hall entrance. The project includes the replacement of concrete sidewalk, a concrete handicap ramp, and handrails, as well as resetting/repointing of select granite steps, handrail repair, and installation of exterior drainage and a sump pump. The estimated construction cost is $300,000. • The bidder must provide a bid security consisting of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid price. • The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. • The bidder must comply with the requirements of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program and Affirmative Action requirements. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder.
