Description
The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to design and implement a comprehensive, data-driven CEO performance evaluation system and provide training and concurrent support to the Board of Directors. The selected firm will support the Board in defining and aligning the CEO performance with agency strategic goals and implementing a defensible, objective, and measurable evaluation process. The scope of services includes developing a CEO performance management framework, creating a data-driven evaluation tool, and facilitating a confidential annual CEO evaluation process.
Key aspects of the project include:
• Developing a CEO performance management framework that aligns with the agency's strategic plan and annual performance management program
• Creating a data-driven evaluation tool that incorporates quantitative metrics and provides scoring methodology with defined rating scales
• Facilitating a confidential annual CEO evaluation process and providing guidance on performance feedback and goal-setting
• Providing training and support to the Board of Directors on the evaluation process and tool
The ideal proposer will have experience working with public sector governing boards, expertise in executive performance management systems, and knowledge of public governance and employment law considerations.
