Lift Station 18 Improvements

The City of Adel is seeking bids for the Lift Station 18 Improvements project. The project involves replacing aging infrastructure and upsizing the lift station capacity by installing a new wetwell and pump station components. The scope of work includes pour-in-place concrete wetwell and valve pad, submersible pumps, guide rails, access hatches, station piping, electrical panel and controls, sanitary sewer manholes, fencing, and a new GAB site pad. The project requires a mandatory pre-bid conference and has a completion time of 300 consecutive calendar days. • The project is funded in part by GEFA SRF monies and American Rescue Plan Act Funds. • Bidders must comply with affirmative action requirements and apply timetables and goals set forth in 41 CFR 60-4. • The project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements. • Bidders must provide proof of a valid license as a Utility Contractor and employ a Utility Manager certification holder.
