The City of Augusta, Georgia is seeking consulting services for an EMS Medical Director for the Augusta Fire Department. The selected consultant will provide medical direction and oversight for the fire department's emergency medical services (EMS) program. The scope of work includes developing and implementing EMS protocols, providing medical training and education to fire department personnel, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The consultant will also be responsible for reviewing and updating the fire department's EMS policies and procedures, as well as providing medical expertise and guidance to fire department personnel. • The consultant must have experience in EMS medical direction and oversight • The consultant must have knowledge of state and federal regulations governing EMS • The consultant must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills • The consultant must be able to work effectively with fire department personnel and other stakeholders • The consultant must be able to provide medical expertise and guidance to fire department personnel
