Description
The City of Austin is seeking a contractor to provide bird and bat control services, including migratory and stationary bird control, bird and bat removal, and other related services. The contractor will be required to deploy bird trapping cages, inspect and maintain the City's Bird-B-Gone Hazer System, and provide other services as needed. The contract will be for an indefinite quantity, with the City reserving the right to purchase more or less of the quantities specified. The contractor will be required to provide all equipment and materials necessary to perform the services, and will be reimbursed for approved expenses.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Deploying bird trapping cages to reduce stationary bird presence at City facilities
• Inspecting and maintaining the City's Bird-B-Gone Hazer System
• Providing other services as needed, including bat removal and expedited services
• Coordinating with the City's Contract Manager to discuss service requirements and schedules
• Providing estimates and invoices for services performed
• Ensuring all work is completed in a safe and timely manner
