Description
The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking a contractor to provide asbestos floor remediation, moisture barrier installation, flooring replacement, and cove base replacement services at the Hollister DMV field office. The contractor will be responsible for removing approximately 1,690 square feet of carpet tile and VCT and replacing it with LVT throughout the interior of the building. The contractor must possess a valid C-15 contractor license and either a valid C-22 contractor license or an ASB Certification to perform asbestos abatement work. The contract term is 12 months, with a commencement date of January 1, 2026, and a completion date of June 30, 2027.
• The contractor must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference on November 13, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
• The contractor must submit all questions regarding the bid via email by November 17, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
• The contractor must submit their bid via email by November 30, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.
• The contractor must provide proof of insurance, including commercial general liability, automobile liability, pollution liability, and workers' compensation insurance.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Unruh Civil Rights Act and the Fair Employment and Housing Act.
