North Dakota State University (NDSU) is seeking a turnkey Dynamic Mechanical Analyzer (DMA) to support polymer‑testing research, with delivery in fall 2026 and full installation and commissioning completed by January 2027. The vendor must provide a complete, operable DMA system—including hardware, accessories, required fixtures, sensors, and software licenses—plus delivery, on‑site installation, functional demonstration, training for university staff, and a minimum one‑year warranty. Optional capabilities such as rheology testing upgrades, a second liquid‑nitrogen dewar, and rotational/torsional torque modules may be offered but are not required for the base bid. The instrument must meet demanding performance specifications (frequency 2 × 10⁻⁸ Hz – 200 Hz, temperature –170 °C – +600 °C, normal‑force 0.001 N – 50 N) and be modular for future expansion.
• Provide a complete DMA system meeting the stated technical ranges and testing modes (bending, tension, compression, extensional).
• Include all software, licenses, and documentation; disclose any recurring software fees.
• Deliver, install, commission, and demonstrate functionality on‑site; complete training for NDSU personnel.
• Offer a minimum one‑year warranty and describe preventive‑maintenance and on‑site service options.
• Optionally propose rheology capability, additional liquid‑nitrogen dewar, and rotational/torsional upgrade as separate line items (not evaluated in the base price).
