KSU - Roll-Up Doors and Loading Docks

Kennesaw State University is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide comprehensive inspection, preventive maintenance, repair, and replacement services for roll-up doors, loading docks, dock levelers, seals, bumpers, safety devices, and related accessories across both campuses. The scope of work includes routine inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, emergency response, and replacement services. The contract aims to ensure the continued safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all loading dock and door systems in compliance with OSHA, ANSI, and manufacturer standards. • Routine Inspections: Perform scheduled inspections of roll-up doors, loading docks, dock levelers, dock seals, dock shelters, safety equipment, and related accessories. • Preventive Maintenance: Lubrication, adjustments, cleaning, and part replacements as recommended by manufacturer specifications and industry best practices. • Repairs: Corrective repairs of damaged or malfunctioning equipment, including but not limited to: door panels, springs, cables, dock plates, bumpers, seals, and mechanical/electrical components. • Emergency Response: Provide 24/7 emergency service for roll-up doors and loading dock systems critical to campus operations. • Replacement Services: Provide cost estimates and execute full replacement of roll-up doors, dock levelers, bumpers, and accessories when beyond economical repair.
