Description
The City of Grand Junction is seeking a qualified contractor to provide roll‑off containers (20‑, 30‑, and 40‑cubic‑yard) along with drivers and trucks to haul recyclables from its Drop‑Off facility to designated processing plants. The contractor must supply 3‑6 containers, maintain them in serviceable condition, and deliver flat‑rate, all‑inclusive per‑haul pricing for each container size and destination. Services include loading assistance, timely container placement for morning pickups, compliance with city licensing, and full insurance coverage.
• Minimum 3 roll‑off containers (up to 6) with drivers and trucks
• Haul recyclables to Republic Transfer Station (through 2026) and Grand Junction MRF (beginning 2027) on a per‑haul flat‑rate basis
• Service must start no later than December 2026 and continue through 2027, with optional one‑year extensions
• Contractor must hold a Grand Junction trash hauler license, maintain $5 M general liability, $1 M auto liability, and other required insurance, and be tax‑exempt in Colorado.
