Description
The City of Grand Junction is seeking a contractor to provide on‑call services for the cleanup of unauthorized encampments, removal of biohazardous waste, and removal of abandoned vehicles on city‑owned property. The contract is a fixed‑price, “not‑to‑exceed” one‑year agreement beginning 1 Jan 2027, with the possibility of up to three additional one‑year renewals. Proposers may submit for either or both service categories and must supply all‑inclusive rates, response‑time commitments, and demonstrate capability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform site assessments, debris removal, hazardous‑waste segregation, and proper disposal on city‑owned lands.
• Provide towing, demolition, and disposal of abandoned vehicles after City authorization.
• Must maintain required insurance, embed travel/mobilization costs in rates, and meet the City’s prompt‑payment discount requirements.
