Description
The City of Douglasville is seeking a qualified vendor to provide full‑service commercial solid waste collection (front‑end load and roll‑off) for all commercial customers within city limits, excluding a designated downtown business district. The contractor will assume possession of existing containers, maintain and service them, perform scheduled collections, handle missed pickups, and invoice the City monthly. The contract term is up to one year with automatic renewals, and the award will follow a competitive evaluation based on operational capacity, experience, methodology, and cost.
• Scope: 739 front‑load units, 75 roll‑off units, plus 15 VIP front‑load compactor units (city‑owned)
• Services: Daily/weekly collection, container maintenance, missed‑collection remediation, compliance with noise ordinances, holiday scheduling, and reporting
• Mandatory pre‑proposal conference on Nov 12, 2026 (attendance required)
• Questions due by Nov 16, 2026; final proposals due Dec 1, 2026, 4 PM EST
