Flooring and Trim Replacement

The Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) is seeking a contractor to provide flooring and trim replacement services at several SMART locations, including the Hein Building, Oakland Terminal, Royal Oak Transit Center, and Wayne Terminal. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and installing new flooring, removing existing flooring, and hauling away debris. The contract will be for a one-time purchase, with no renewal options. The contractor must comply with all federal and state regulations, including the Davis-Bacon Act and the Michigan Prevailing Wage Act. The contractor must also provide proof of insurance and adhere to all safety standards. • The contractor must provide a firm-fixed price for the work to be performed. • The contractor must submit samples of all proposed flooring materials for review and approval. • The contractor must comply with all federal and state regulations, including the Davis-Bacon Act and the Michigan Prevailing Wage Act. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and adhere to all safety standards. • The contractor must furnish and install new flooring, remove existing flooring, and haul away debris. • The contractor must comply with the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act. • The contractor must not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or sex in the performance of the contract.
