Description
The County is seeking a qualified contractor to construct a new set of two lighted basketball courts at Lenora Park in Snellvier, GA, including all site work, concrete, fencing, lighting, utilities, and landscaping. The project requires compliance with Georgia bonding and insurance standards, a 5 % bid bond, 100 % performance and payment bonds, and a full‑time on‑site superintendent.
• Build two illuminated, light‑ed basketball courts with surfacing, LED lighting, ball‑return systems, and related electrical work.
• Provide site grading, retaining wall, chain‑link fencing with gated access, storm‑water management, new water line, and landscaping (trees, shrubs, sod, irrigation ties‑in).
• Submit sealed bids (duplicate) by 2:50 p.m. on August 27 2026, include a 5 % bid bond, and meet A‑M Best rating ≥ A‑8 for surety.
• Perform at least 20 % of the work with own labor/equipment; retainage of 5 % will be held; liquidated damages of $500 per day after a 120‑day construction window (Nov 9 2026 – Mar 8 2027).
• All submittals, RFIs, and progress reports must be uploaded via E‑Builder; the bid opening will be virtual via Microsoft Teams.
