Description
The Avondale School District is seeking bids for the construction of a new 63,082 sf Early Childhood Center. The project falls under Prevailing Wage requirements per Michigan Public Act 10 of 2023. The bidding documents consist of plans and specifications as prepared by French Associates. A pre-bid meeting will be held online on January 13th, 2026, at 8:30 am, which is not mandatory but highly encouraged. Bids are due no later than January 27th, 2026, at 12:00 pm NOON (EST).
• The project requires a certified cashier's check or a U.S. treasury listed security bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid amount for bids over $31,321.
• Successful bidders whose proposals are $50,000 or more will be required to furnish a Satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of their bid.
• The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids in whole or in part and to waive any informalities therein.
