Description
The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking a pre-qualified firm to provide demolition and removal services for the demolition of improvements, structures, or other encumbrances in the right of way and/or easement areas. The scope of work includes the complete demolition of structures identified and described in the Asbestos Inspection Reports. The work must be completed within 30 days of the Notice to Proceed.
• The contractor must be pre-qualified in the Right of Way Property Management service class.
• The contractor must provide a bid price that includes all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals required for completion of the demolition project.
• The contractor must comply with all pertinent regulations, including the Georgia Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Act of 1990 and the Georgia Rules for Solid Waste Management.
• The contractor must provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the total bid price.
• The contractor must maintain liability insurance with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 aggregate.
