Description
The Bulloch County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the Hightower Road & Josh Smith Road Dirt Road Paving Project. The project involves clearing and grubbing operations, coordination and relocation of existing utilities, grading and earthwork operations, drainage work, subgrade construction, graded aggregate base construction, and asphalt paving work. The project location is on Hightower Road from Burkhalter Road to the existing paved portion of Hightower Road and on Josh Smith Road from Harville Road to Hightower Road.
• The project consists of approximately 1.695 miles of Hightower Road and 1.248 miles of Josh Smith Road.
• The project requires the contractor to achieve Substantial Completion by August 31, 2027, and Final Acceptance by September 30, 2027.
• The contractor will be required to provide payment and performance bonds, as well as insurance certificates.
• The contractor will be responsible for coordinating relocation of existing utilities and maintaining the entire project limits during construction.
