Description
The Charlotte Douglas International Airport is seeking a qualified firm to provide comprehensive landscape‑maintenance services for Zones 2 and 3, which include parking areas, roadways, drainage areas, turf, shrubs, trees, mulch beds, and detention ponds. The contract will be awarded to one or more contractors, each potentially covering one or both zones, for a base term of three years with up to two optional one‑year extensions. Work must meet industry standards, comply with all applicable federal, state and local regulations, and include security clearance for work inside the Air Operations Area.
• Daily litter removal, mowing, edging, weed & pest control, and trash disposal across parking and roadway areas.
• Seasonal flower‑bed planting, mulching, pruning of shrubs and trees, and irrigation checks (Zone 3 only).
• Specialized tasks such as fence‑line clearing, fire‑ant control, detention‑pond maintenance, and required reporting/traffic‑control measures.
