Description
The project involves the replacement, repair, and upgrade of exterior Domestic Water distribution, Sanitary Sewer, and Storm Piping systems at Western State Hospital. The project base bid entails the installation of a new domestic water loop along with new fire hydrants to replace the existing system. New laterals will be provided and tied into existing building service entrances outside each building in a phased manner to minimize water disruption. The project also includes add alternates for repair, replacement, and lining of miscellaneous sanitary sewer mains, laterals, and manholes, as well as replacement and lining of various sections of storm water piping.
• The project is located at Western State Hospital, a secure, acute care adult psychiatric facility.
