Trenchless Culvert Restoration 2026 (RFP)

The Town of Simsbury is seeking contractors to submit a proposal for trenchless culvert restoration services on a fixed-price basis for Lucy Brook under East Weatogue Street and Munnisunk Brook under County Road. The project involves the restoration of two culverts using trenchless methods such as cure in place pipe (CIPP), slip lining, epoxy coating, geopolymer, etc. The locations are 1) Lucy Brook Culvert, a 35-foot long, twin barrel, corrugated steel plate 7.5’ x 4’ pipe arch, and 2) Munnisunk Brook Culvert, a 70-foot long, 30” diameter corrugated metal pipe. • The project requires the restoration of two culverts using trenchless methods. • The culverts are located in Simsbury, CT. • The project is on a fixed-price basis. • The contractor will be responsible for the restoration of the culverts using the specified methods. • The project requires the contractor to have experience with trenchless culvert restoration services.
