Description
The Gwinnett County Government is seeking bids for the provision of speed humps on an annual contract. The contract will include the installation, marking, and repair of speed humps on residential streets throughout the county. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary materials, equipment, and labor to complete the work. The contract will have a term of one year with three options to renew.
• The contractor must have documented experience in the installation of speed humps or similar devices.
• The contractor must provide evidence of insurance and meet all specifications set forth by the Georgia Department of Transportation.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including OSHA and the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.
• The contractor must provide a not-to-exceed quote based on the rates provided in the bid schedule.
• The contractor must complete maintenance and pavement marking work within 30 business days of receiving written notice.
