Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Wolverine Escort Vehicle Light Chassis (W-EVLC)

The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) intends to sole source a contract to Wulco Inc. doing business as NextGen Armor (NextGen) for the design and build of the First Article of Wolverine Escort Vehicle Light Chassis (W-EVLC) and development and delivery of Office of Secure Transportation’s (OST) next generation W-EVLCs. The contract will involve the design, build, and delivery of a specialized vehicle with a unique set of requirements, including a DoT compliant sleeper berth, safety-compliant equipment storage areas, and an OST Advanced Radio Enterprise System (ARES) communication suite. Key aspects of the job include: • Design and build of the First Article of W-EVLC • Development and delivery of OST’s next generation W-EVLCs • Integration of ARES communication suite • Compliance with DoT and OST requirements • Utilization of Government-Furnished equipment (GFE) • Application of proprietary Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings and testing data
