Description
The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is seeking white papers and proposals from public and private research institutions to deliver research products that generate operationally-relevant, timely, credible, actionable insights and recommendations into emerging threats within DTRA's mission space. The research will contribute to DTRA's efforts to characterize the future battlespace and inform future operations, activities, and investments. The awarded research efforts will constitute applied research and development, and DTRA will provide guidance and direction throughout the life of the awarded projects.
Some key aspects of the job include:
• Delivering research products that generate operationally-relevant insights and recommendations
• Characterizing the future battlespace to inform future DTRA and DoD operations
• Identifying operationally-relevant recommendations for addressing challenges, threats, and issues
• Conducting strategic dialogues, studies, and tabletop exercises to answer specific research questions
• Providing analysis of findings to inform a broader analytic research effort
