The City of Colorado Springs is seeking a qualified contractor to provide on‑call snow removal and ice‑control services for its police department facilities and other municipal properties. The work is time‑and‑materials, triggered by snowfall thresholds, and requires rapid response to clear sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and garages, with specific equipment and environmental‑safety requirements. The contract is multi‑year (one base year plus four optional one‑year extensions) and will be awarded in December 2026 with performance beginning September 2027.
• Service triggers: ≥ 2 in snow on sidewalks, ≥ 3 in snow on driveways/parking areas.
• Response time: Completion by 7 AM on weekdays; automatic initiation on weekends/holidays.
