Budget estimate

$250,000 – $600,000

The metal 3‑D printer system with liquid‑metal‑jetting technology is a high‑end capital asset. Comparable systems on the market range from $200,000 to $500,000 for the hardware alone; adding software licenses, a starter consumables kit, installation, training, extended warranty, and freight can push the total contract value to roughly $250,000‑$600,000. The estimate assumes a mid‑range printer model, standard software licensing, a one‑year warranty, and typical shipping/installation costs for a university campus.
