Description
The County is seeking qualified contractors to execute pedestrian‑improvement work along Old Norcross Road (SR 120/Duluth Highway) and Venture Drive. The scope covers approximately 0.84 mi of roadway and includes clearing & grubbing, grading, curb‑and‑gutter installation, sidewalk construction, concrete flat work, concrete wall/structure erection, storm‑drain pipe placement, asphalt paving, signing, and striping. Quantities are detailed in the notice, providing a clear basis for cost estimating.
• Earthwork: 1,500 CY clearing & grubbing, grading
• Curb & Gutter: 1,654 LF
• Concrete Flat Work: 3,464 SY; Concrete Structures: 40 CY
• Storm‑Drain Pipe: 342 LF; Asphalt: 50 TN
• Bid bond required at 5 % of bid, performance and payment bonds at 100 % of contract value, with A‑8 rating requirement.
