Description
The City of Roseburg is seeking bids for the construction of trails and related work at Sunshine Park. The project includes excavation, construction of pipe culverts, and installation of concrete and metal products. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary for the project. The project is expected to be completed within 90 days of the start of construction. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in the bidding process.
• The project involves the construction of 7 trails, 8 segments of trail duplication, and the installation of 5 culverts.
• The contractor must be pre-qualified with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board and have a current certificate of insurance.
• The city will provide a list of first-tier subcontractors and suppliers, and the contractor must ensure that all subcontractors and suppliers are properly licensed and insured.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to prevailing wages, workers' compensation, and employment practices.
• The city will provide a payment bond to secure payment to subcontractors and suppliers.
• The contractor must provide proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance.
• The city reserves the right to inspect the work and require corrections or repairs as necessary.
