Replacement of Fire Pumps

The Suffolk County Sheriff's Department is soliciting bidders for the replacement of fire pumps at two facilities: the Nashua Street Jail and the House of Correction. The contract is expected to last until June 30, 2026. Bidders must attend a mandatory tour of the facilities on October 22, 2025, at 9:00 AM. The bid submission deadline is November 6, 2025, at 1:00 PM. • The replacement of existing fire pumps and jockey pumps with transfer switches at each facility • The provision of a technical plan of service proposal • The maintenance of insurance coverage throughout the term of the contract • Compliance with the prevailing wage rates and payroll records requirements • Participation in the Commonwealth Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) program for receiving payments
