The Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge (BREC) is seeking bids for the construction of the Liberty Lagoon Aquatic Repairs project. The project involves the demolition and reconstruction of new Phase 1 pumps, variable frequency drivers, digital flowmeters, automation, remote controls, new regenerative media filtration, autofill devices, and jib cranes. The project is located at 111 Lobdell Ave, Baton Rouge, LA 70809. * The bid deadline is June 2, 2026, at 2:00 PM CT. * A pre-bid conference will be held on May 20, 2026, at 9:00 AM. * Bidders must obtain an original set of bidding documents from BREC. * The construction estimate will be read aloud at the bid opening. * BREC reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause. * Contractors must be licensed in the proper category of work and comply with all provisions of the State Licensing Law for Contractors.
