COE 20262045 Hult Center Seating, Electrical and Mechanical Improvements

The City of Eugene is seeking bids for the Hult Center Seating, Electrical, and Mechanical Improvements project. The project includes the removal of seating platforms and light upgrades, as well as the addition of cooling to the existing spot booth. The work requires installing a cooling unit in the spot booth and rooftop unit, extending electrical through Silva Hall, and other tasks as shown on the drawings. A pre-bid conference is mandatory for prime bidders, and mechanical and electrical subcontractors are encouraged to attend. The conference will be held on May 13, 2026, at 9:00 AM at the Hult Center for Performing Arts. • The project is a public works project subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. • Bidders must submit a bid security of 10% of the bid amount. • The city reserves the right to reject any bid for good cause. • The project requires compliance with prevailing wage rates. • Bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractors Board as required by ORS 701. • Asbestos work is not anticipated, but if discovered, the contractor must immediately notify the city.
