The U.S. Army is seeking innovative autonomous sustainment solutions from eligible small and large businesses across the U.S. and allied foreign countries. The solutions should demonstrate performance in one of three capability areas: Autonomous, Attritable Air Delivery Systems; Autonomous, Attritable Surface Vessels Capable of Transporting 1-4 TEUs; and Uncrewed, Automated, Ground Delivery Systems for Logistics and Resupply Operations. The solutions should meet certain criteria, including a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 6 or higher, clear linkages to resolving the problem statement, and technical interoperability with existing Army systems. The competition will consist of three phases: concept white paper submission, soldier exercise, and opportunity to submit a follow-on contract proposal. Up to 15 finalists will be selected to receive a cash prize of $25,000 each and participate in the soldier exercise, and up to five final winners will be selected to receive an additional cash prize of $150,000 each and a potential opportunity to submit for a follow-on contract or agreement.
Key points to consider:
• The competition is open to all entities that meet the eligibility requirements.
• The solutions should demonstrate autonomy, scalability, and interoperability with existing Army systems.
• The competition will consist of three phases, with opportunities for feedback and evaluation at each stage.
• The Army is seeking solutions that can field solutions within 180 days of contract award.
• The competition is subject to various laws and regulations, including those related to intellectual property and export control.
