Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to procure 25 brand-name Tableau Forensic Write-Blocker kits to support newly certified Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) forensic examiners. These devices are required for write-block protection of original digital evidence, creation, verification, and preservation of forensic images, and forensic wiping of digital media prior to imaging. The required brand-name Tableau components include UltraBlock USB 3.0 to IDE/SATA Forensic Write-Blocker Kit, UltraBlock PCIe Write-Blocker Kit, TDA71 PCIe Card SSD Adapter, TDA72 PCIe M.2 SSD Adapter, and UltraBlock USB 3.0 Forensic Card Reader. • The FBI intends to award a single firm-fixed-price contract for all required components. • Partial orders, partial fulfillment, or incomplete configurations will not be accepted. • The estimated total cost is $25,963.25. • The contract type is Firm Fixed-Price (FFP). • The period of performance is from the date of award to 12 months.
