Sewer System Management Plan Update in Compliance with Order WQ 2022-0103-DWQ

The City of Redondo Beach is seeking a qualified consultant to update its Sewer System Management Plan (SSMP) to achieve full compliance with the State Water Resources Control Board's Order No. WQ 2022-0103-DWQ. The selected consultant will be responsible for reviewing existing system data and documentation, updating all eleven SSMP elements, assessing system condition using available tools and data, and performing hydraulic modeling to identify capacity limitations. The consultant will also prepare prioritized 5, 10, and 20-year Capital Improvement Plans (CIPs) and provide training and implementation support to City staff. Key tasks include: * Updating the SSMP to reflect current system conditions, regulatory requirements, and program objectives * Performing a comprehensive condition and capacity assessment of the sewer system * Developing a prioritized CIP with project descriptions, cost estimates, and a funding strategy * Providing training and implementation support to City staff * Updating the City's Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Program * Performing hydraulic modeling and capacity analysis * Identifying system vulnerabilities and integrating mitigation strategies into the SSMP and CIP
