The City of Galax is soliciting qualified contractors to redesign and convert its existing kiddie pool/wading area into a modern splash‑pad facility. The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including site evaluation, demolition or modification of existing pool features, design and installation of splash‑pad components, plumbing and water‑circulation upgrades, concrete work, drainage improvements, and final site restoration. The work aims to create a safe, accessible, low‑maintenance water play area for children and families. • Full‑service scope: design, labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and related services. • Required tasks: removal/modification of existing pool, installation of splash‑pad jets, plumbing upgrades, concrete/ surface work, and site restoration. • Deliverables: complete, operational splash‑pad compliant with local codes, with documentation of qualifications, experience, schedule, and cost.
