Description
The Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority is soliciting competitive sealed bids for the Cedar Mountain Road Stormwater Improvement Project (Location 2). The project includes the removal of approximately 84 linear feet of 48” corrugated metal pipe, two headwalls, and 51 LF of 8” water main, and the installation of 47 LF of 12’x8’ concrete box culvert, two concrete headwalls, 51 LF of 8” ductile iron water main pipe, and associated road restoration. The project site is located within Douglas County, and all work will be performed within Authority easements and/or inside public right-of-way.
• The project requires a turnkey approach with minimal involvement of Authority personnel.
• All anticipated rights-of-way and easements required for the project have been obtained.
• All anticipated federal, state, and local permits required for the project have been obtained.
• Bidders must hold a current Georgia Utility Contractors License and be on the Authority’s Approved Contractor List.
• Bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid price is required.
