Effluent Pump Repair

The City of Mt. Shasta is soliciting Requests for Proposals from qualified contractors for removal, inspection, and repair of an effluent turbine pump located at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope of work includes pulling the 150hp and 19-stage coupled turbine for servicing, inspecting and repairing the pump turbine, and reinstalling and testing the motor and pump turbine. The proposal should include a detailed management approach, equipment required, personnel assigned to tasks, and estimated total cost. • The contractor will be required to provide a crane truck to pull the turbine for servicing. • The contractor will need to inspect and repair the pump turbine, including the shaft, bowls, baskets, and bearings. • The contractor will need to provide a written quote for any repairs before they are made. • The contractor will need to reinstall and test the motor and pump turbine after repairs.
