Invitation to Bid- University Park Wastewater Lagoon Facility

The Riley County Board of County Commissioners is seeking bids for the construction of a two-cell, non-discharging wastewater lagoon facility and a submersible sanitary sewer pump station in University Park, Kansas. The project includes excavation, fill, and installation of piping, riprap, and other appurtenant work. The bid shall be based on price, character, integrity, reputation, judgment, and experience of the contractor. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. • The project requires approximately 38,097 cubic yards of common excavation and 31,211 cubic yards of compacted fill. • The project includes the installation of 4486 linear feet of 8-inch PVC force main and 278 linear feet of 8-inch DIP piping. • The project requires a duplex, submersible wastewater pump station and all other incidental work. • Bidders must comply with the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and Kansas Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund Requirements. • Bidders must also comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 (Equal Employment Opportunity) as amended.
