Notice to Bidders

The Jr/Sr High School Track, Field & Parking Lot Improvements project involves the construction of a track, field, and parking lot for Bronson Community Schools. The project is funded, in part, with revenue from a school district millage authorized under the Revised School Code prior to the effective date of the Michigan Prevailing Wage Act. As a result, the project is not subject to state prevailing wage requirements. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds for 100% of their contract amount prior to execution of contracts. Some key points to consider include: • The project is being managed by a construction manager. • Bidders must place an order on the Skillman plan room website to download documents electronically or request printed documents. • A pre-bid conference will be held virtually and onsite on March 11, 2026, at 3:30 PM. • Bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid. • The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in bidding.
