Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division requires the upgrade of one Mahr 130B-38 Gage Block Comparator to meet the specifications of the Mahr 130B-24 model. The contractor must provide a shipping crate, shipping hardware, and a factory system upgrade. The contractor must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed supplies, equipment, and/or services. The contractor must provide proof of authorization verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM at the time of offer submission and prior to closure of solicitation.
* Key requirements include:
* Providing a unique item identifier for items with a unit cost of $5,000 or more
* Complying with the Buy American and Balance of Payments Program-Basic clause
* Providing commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) items that have been sold and are available to the general public, commercial marketplace, and sold to the Government without any modifications
* Not providing gray market items, which are Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) goods sold through unauthorized channels in direct competition with authorized distributors
