Frothingham Hall Chimney Repairs

The Town of Easton Department of Public Works is soliciting written quotes for the repair of the existing chimneys at Frothingham Hall, located in Easton, Massachusetts. The scope of work includes scaffolding, chimney repointing, flashing replacement, and chimney top reconstruction. Vendors interested in providing a quote must schedule a site walk prior to submitting a price. • The contractor shall provide all labor and materials required to perform the scope of work described. • The contractor shall furnish and install pipe scaffolding around both chimneys. • The contractor shall cut and repoint 100% of all exterior mortar joints on both chimneys. • The contractor shall remove existing counterflashing and furnish and install new properly integrated counterflashing on both chimneys. • The contractor shall demolish the top five feet of the large chimney and furnish and pour a new cast-in-place chimney cap.
